VMC Machine Operator

Job Description

Engeetech Engineerings is looking for an experienced VMC Machine Operator to operate and monitor Vertical Machining Centre machines in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, tool handling, production operations, quality checks, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with VMC machines and basic knowledge of machining processes. Key Responsibilities Operate VMC machines for accurate and efficient production. Set up machines, fixtures, tools, and workpieces as per job requirements. Load and unload components safely and correctly. Read and understand basic engineering drawings and job specifications. Check component dimensions using measuring instruments. Monitor machining operations and identify defects or abnormalities. Perform basic tool changes and offset adjustments when required. Maintain production quality and achieve daily production targets. Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards. Keep machines and work areas clean and organized. Report machine issues, tool wear, and quality problems to the supervisor. Maintain basic production and inspection records.
