Site Engineer

Job Description

Tiruthanikai Infra City is seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Engineer to manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and as per approved quality standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, site management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Site Execution Supervise daily construction activities at project sites. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors. Monitor labour productivity and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. Resolve on-site technical issues promptly. Quality Control Ensure construction work meets quality standards and project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections. Verify material quality, measurements, and workmanship. Maintain QA/QC documentation. Project Planning & Coordination Assist in project planning and scheduling. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and consultants. Track project progress and submit regular reports. Ensure timely completion of assigned work. Safety & Compliance Enforce company safety policies and statutory regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections. Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental standards. Promote safe working practices across the project site. Documentation & Reporting Prepare daily site progress reports. Maintain material consumption and inventory records. Prepare measurement sheets, billing quantities, and project documentation. Report project risks, delays, and technical issues to management. Required Skills Civil Site Supervision Site Construction Construction Management Site Operations Site Planning Site Execution RCC Works Finishing Works BOQ & Estimation Quantity Surveying Billing AutoCAD MS Office Project Coordination Technical Drawing Interpretation Required Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. 1-5 years of experience in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of construction methods and materials. Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel to project sites when required. Preferred Skills Residential and commercial building project experience. Knowledge of RCC and finishing works. BOQ preparation and quantity estimation. Material planning and inventory management. Team coordination and project scheduling.
