Shopify Team Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Team Lead to lead the development and migration of enterprise e-commerce applications from SFCC to Shopify Plus. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in the Shopify ecosystem, custom app development, and team leadership. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable Shopify solutions, leading development teams, and delivering high-performance e-commerce platforms using modern technologies and AI-powered development tools. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of Shopify Plus solutions. Develop and maintain custom Shopify applications using the Remix framework. Build and customize Shopify themes and theme app extensions. Develop and maintain Shopify App Extensions. Implement Shopify Webhooks for real-time integrations and event processing. Design and integrate backend services using PostgreSQL and Redis. Work with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and real-time data processing. Develop REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless integrations. Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and business teams. Drive migration projects from SFCC to Shopify. Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance. Mentor and lead a team of developers. Promote best coding practices, code reviews, and development standards. Preferred Candidate Profile 9–10 years of software development experience. Strong expertise in Shopify Plus development. Proven experience leading development teams. Experience handling large-scale e-commerce projects. Strong understanding of modern web architecture and cloud technologies.
