Job Description

Alfa Maxworth Private Limited is looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial pumps and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide high-quality technical support at customer sites Key Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning Install and commission industrial pumps and material handling equipment. Perform functional testing and ensure equipment operates as per specifications. Coordinate with customers during installation and equipment handover. Service & Maintenance Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Attend breakdown calls and restore equipment within committed timelines. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults. Replace defective components and ensure quality repairs. Carry out alignment, lubrication, calibration, and performance testing. Equipment to be Serviced EOT Cranes Gantry Cranes JIB Cranes Electric Wire Rope Hoists Chain Hoists Goods Lifts Industrial Pumps Electric Motors Gearboxes Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Control Panels Limit Switches Brake Systems Customer Support Provide technical support and basic training to customers. Build strong customer relationships. Recommend Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), spare parts, modernization, and repair solutions. Documentation Prepare service reports after every site visit. Maintain preventive maintenance records. Record breakdown analysis and corrective actions. Submit travel and expense reports. Safety & Compliance Follow industrial safety standards and PPE guidelines. Comply with company SOPs and customer safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and safety at work sites. Required Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Diploma candidates with relevant experience may also apply. Experience 1–6 Years in installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial pumps or material handling equipment. Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered for trainee roles.
