Service Engineer

Job Description

FTA HSRP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Service Engineer to join its Maintenance Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for equipment installation, inspection, troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance. This role requires frequent travel to customer locations and strong technical knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems. Key Responsibilities Inspect assembled equipment to ensure proper installation and functionality. Check operating components to verify performance within specified tolerances. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related issues. Perform commissioning activities at customer sites. Coordinate with internal teams and project managers during field assignments. Provide customers with regular updates on installation and commissioning progress. Identify and use the appropriate tools and equipment required for service activities. Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of equipment. Assist customers in implementing preventive maintenance schedules. Assemble, align, install, and test equipment as required. Travel to customer locations for installation and service assignments (approximately 60% travel). Eligibility Criteria Experience 1-3 years of experience in Service Engineering, Maintenance, Installation, or Repair. Fresh Diploma candidates may also apply. ITI candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Educational Qualification Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR ITI (Mechanical/Fitter)
