Job Description

The Senior Supervisor – Cinema Operations (SSRE) is responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of cinema operations in coordination with Cinema Managers. The role ensures smooth functioning of box office, concessions, ushering, lobby management, and customer experience while complying with statutory and company standards. The position involves staff supervision, training, customer handling, and driving profitability through operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

• Ensure fair and timely staff rosters for box office, concessions, lobby, and exits.
• Efficiently deploy and shuffle staff between box office, concession counters, and ushering.
• Ensure optimal counter availability during entry, interval, and peak hours.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, and Security teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness across lobby, auditorium, concession area, washrooms, box office, and entry/exit points.

Customer Experience & VIP Handling

• Handle VIP movements, PR coordination, and special bookings.
• Maintain strong relationships with important customers and government authorities.
• Handle customer complaints effectively and proactively prevent escalation.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback regularly.

Concession & Revenue Management

• Maximize profitability from food & beverage counters.
• Ensure high-quality food standards and staff grooming.
• Minimize food wastage and pilferage through effective inventory planning.
• Ensure all counters function efficiently during peak timings.

Team Management & Training

• Conduct punctual and effective team briefings.
• Provide training and guidance to SREs and SRTs on customer interaction.
• Monitor floor supervision to ensure service standards are met.
• Ensure ushers are visible and available at all customer touchpoints.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and submit operational reports to the Cinema Manager on time.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Platinum Lounge Executives to ensure availability and upkeep of amenities like blankets, cushions, and F&B service quality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: BBA / MBA / BHM / IHM
• Experience: 3–4 years in Hospitality / Cinema / Entertainment Industry
