Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Skymax Construction Private Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage mechanical and structural steel construction projects from planning through successful handover. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution, manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure quality, safety, budget, and schedule compliance, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver mechanical and structural steel construction projects. Develop project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and execution strategies. Supervise daily site operations and ensure work progresses according to approved plans and timelines. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project costs, timelines, and resource utilization to ensure budget compliance. Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Identify project risks, resolve technical and operational issues, and implement corrective actions. Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and clients. Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and approvals. Lead and mentor project engineers, site managers, and execution teams. Ensure successful project commissioning, final inspections, and handover. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, with significant experience in mechanical and structural steel construction projects. Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Experience managing large-scale construction and industrial projects. Familiarity with construction quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
