Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer

Job Description

SSB Digital is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. The role involves building scalable, secure, and highly available AWS environments while driving infrastructure automation and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Build scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. Deploy and manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and Docker workloads. Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible. Perform Linux server administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. Manage IAM, VPC, VPN, networking, storage, and cloud security. Develop automation tools and scripts using Python and Bash. Implement backup, replication, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies. Work closely with development teams to improve deployment reliability and release cycles. Ensure infrastructure meets security, scalability, and compliance standards. Required Skills 4–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE. Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, EKS, IAM, S3, RDS, VPC, and CloudWatch. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible. Strong Linux administration skills. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Python and Bash scripting. Database backup and replication (MySQL/PostgreSQL). Knowledge of DevSecOps, networking, and monitoring solutions. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, HashiCorp Vault, and GitOps. Experience with enterprise or government projects. Exposure to GCP or multi-cloud environments.
