R&D & Product Development Expert

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced R&D & Product Development Expert to lead the development, improvement, and innovation of incense, fragrance, pooja, personal care, and related consumer products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in product formulation, raw material research, fragrance development, quality improvement, and market-driven product innovation. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve products including Agarbatti, Dhoopbatti, Incense Cones, Sambarani, Dasangam, Camphor, Hawan Samagri, and other pooja products. Develop perfumes, fragrances, scents, cosmetics, and related consumer products. Research and evaluate new raw materials, ingredients, fragrances, and formulations. Create new products based on market trends, customer preferences, and business requirements. Improve product quality, performance, fragrance, shelf life, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct competitor and market research to identify product gaps and new opportunities. Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Marketing teams for product development and commercialization. Conduct product trials, testing, evaluation, and formulation improvements. Support expansion of the company's product portfolio across retail, wholesale, online, and offline markets. Maintain proper documentation of formulations, trials, testing, and product development activities. Required Skills & Qualifications 3–7 years of relevant experience in R&D or Product Development. Hands-on experience in fragrance, perfumery, incense, pooja products, cosmetics, or related FMCG/manufacturing products. Strong knowledge of raw materials, formulations, product testing, and quality improvement. Understanding of market research, competitor analysis, and consumer preferences. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and product innovation skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
