Job Description

Job Summary Usha Capacitors Ltd. is hiring an experienced Purchase Engineer / Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for industrial and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in vendor development, purchase planning, cost negotiation, inventory management, and procurement of electrical, electronic, and mechanical materials. Key Responsibilities Procure electrical, electronic, mechanical, and industrial raw materials. Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts. Identify new vendors and alternate sources for critical materials. Prepare RFQs, compare quotations, and generate Purchase Orders. Monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production. Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and management teams. Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of purchased materials. Maintain procurement documentation and purchase records. Use ERP software and MS Excel for procurement planning and reporting. Control procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. Good communication and coordination abilities. Experience in electrical, electronics, capacitor, or industrial manufacturing companies will be preferred.
