Fab Tech is hiring a Production Engineer to oversee fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in production planning, quality control, and coordinating with design and shop-floor teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities Plan and monitor daily fabrication and production activities. Coordinate with design, stores, and quality teams for smooth workflow. Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards. Review engineering drawings before production. Monitor material usage and minimize production wastage. Prepare production reports and maintain documentation. Ensure workplace safety and compliance with manufacturing standards. Support continuous process improvement initiatives. Required Skills Knowledge of fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing. Understanding of production planning and scheduling. Ability to read engineering drawings. Familiarity with quality inspection procedures. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Good communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
