Junior Site Engineer

Job Description

Food Processing Equipment Company Private Limited is looking for a dedicated and proactive Junior Site Engineer (Civil) to supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites across Delhi NCR. The ideal candidate should have hands-on site experience, knowledge of civil construction practices, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and labor while ensuring quality, safety, and timely project execution. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities including RCC work, brickwork, plastering, tiling, and finishing works. Ensure construction work is executed according to approved structural and architectural drawings. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site labor to achieve project milestones. Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship. Assist in site layout, leveling, marking, and measurements using surveying equipment. Maintain Measurement Book (MB), Daily Progress Reports (DPR), labor attendance, and material records. Support preparation of Running Account (RA) bills and quantity measurements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE by all workers. Report daily site progress and issues to the Project Manager or Senior Site Engineer. Required Qualifications Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic Institute. Minimum 1 year of site engineering experience (2 years preferred). Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure construction projects. Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings. Basic knowledge of National Building Code (NBC), IS Codes, and construction standards. Familiarity with Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) is an added advantage. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
