Java Backend

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead – Java Backend to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and software engineering best practices while providing technical leadership to development teams. This role requires hands-on coding, solution architecture, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade applications. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable backend applications. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Design robust, secure, and high-performance backend systems. Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams. Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and Frontend teams. Drive application performance optimization and scalability improvements. Implement CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps best practices. Identify technical risks and provide effective mitigation strategies. Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance standards. Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, and technical roadmap discussions. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Required Skills Strong expertise in Java Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture Experience in designing and developing REST APIs Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services Experience with Apache Kafka Strong knowledge of Data Structures and System Design Experience with CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of Git and version control systems Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience leading backend engineering teams. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience working on large-scale distributed systems.
