IT Sales Executive

Job Description

The IT Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating sales for the company’s IT and web services. This role requires a motivated, results-driven professional with a strong understanding of the IT industry. The candidate will manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—while building long-term relationships with clients and recommending suitable web solutions based on their business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and generate new business leads through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, networking, client meetings, and industry events

Research and identify potential clients requiring web development services, including custom websites, e-commerce platforms, SEO, and digital marketing

Understand client requirements and recommend tailored web development solutions aligned with business goals

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close sales

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular follow-ups and communication

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and sales activities in the CRM system

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in web development, software, or technology-related industries

Understanding of web development terminologies such as custom websites, e-commerce platforms, SEO, and web design

Proven ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present solutions effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience selling web development services, SaaS products, or IT solutions

Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and current industry trends
