IT Hardware Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Hardware Engineer to join our technical support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing computer hardware and peripheral devices while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals. Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues efficiently. Assemble, upgrade, and replace computer hardware components such as RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboards, processors, and power supplies. Install and configure Windows operating systems and essential software. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal hardware performance. Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation. Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and hardware repairs. Provide onsite and remote technical support to users. Ensure proper cable management and workstation setup. Follow company IT policies and security standards. Required Skills Computer Hardware Troubleshooting Desktop & Laptop Repair Printer Installation & Maintenance Windows Installation & Configuration BIOS & Driver Installation Hardware Diagnostics Technical Support Asset Management Eligibility Diploma/ITI/B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent. Freshers or candidates with up to 3 years of experience are welcome. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
