Job Description

Job Overview We are hiring a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer (IT Hardware) to handle onsite IT hardware installation, troubleshooting, and technical support for clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and end-user support. Key Responsibilities Hardware Support Assemble, install, and repair desktops, laptops, and servers at client locations Perform laptop repairs including keyboard, screen, hinge replacement Diagnose and resolve hardware failures and system issues Operating Systems & Software Support Install and configure Windows 11 Pro, Windows Server 2022, and Linux OS Troubleshoot OS-related issues and system performance problems Email & Cloud Support Configure and support MS Outlook (PST/OST issues, profile setup) Handle Microsoft 365 and Gmail configuration and troubleshooting Resolve mail flow and synchronization issues Networking Support Configure routers, LAN/WAN setups, and workgroup sharing Perform RJ45 crimping, cabling, and basic network troubleshooting Assist in firewall setup, load balancing, and failover configuration Security & Backup Install and manage antivirus and endpoint security solutions Configure basic backup solutions and ensure data protection Required Skills Computer hardware repair & maintenance Hardware networking & configuration Windows installation & troubleshooting Laptop and desktop assembly Wireless and LAN configuration Firewall and basic network security Strong field service and customer support skills Eligibility Criteria Education: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or related field Experience: 0–4 years in IT Hardware / Field Support roles Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA or equivalent Age: 23 – 30 years Gender: Male English: Good communication skills required Additional Requirements Must have a two-wheeler for field visits Should carry salary proof, appointment letter, and relieving documents during interview Willing to travel for onsite support
