Data Analyst (Web Mining)

Seven Wings Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst (Web Mining) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, validating, cleaning, and organizing data from publicly available online sources. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about data, internet research, and analytics, and are eager to learn web scraping and automation technologies. Key Responsibilities Extract data from websites, business directories, and other public online sources. Validate collected data by cross-checking accuracy and consistency. Clean and organize raw data into structured Excel or CSV formats. Monitor and update data regularly to maintain quality and completeness. Identify missing or inaccurate information and resolve data gaps. Work closely with internal teams to understand data requirements. Learn and use automation tools and web scraping techniques to improve productivity. Maintain data confidentiality and accuracy throughout the process. Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Hands-on experience with: VLOOKUP Pivot Tables Data Cleaning Basic understanding of websites, HTML structure, and URLs. Willingness to learn Python, web scraping, and automation tools. Good time management and organizational skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of no-code scraping tools such as: Octoparse WebHarvy Basic SQL knowledge. Basic Python programming.
