CNC Programmer (CNC Turning – Siemens NX CAM)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer (CNC Turning) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Siemens NX CAM, CNC turning operations, and mold/tool room machining. The role involves creating CNC programs, machine setup, program proving, and machining precision components such as rubber molds and oil seal cavities while ensuring high-quality production and optimum machining efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop, edit, and optimize CNC turning programs using Siemens NX CAM. Generate toolpaths for turning, facing, grooving, threading, drilling, and boring operations. Set up CNC turning machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces for production. Perform machine setup, offset adjustments, tool calibration, and program proving. Manufacture rubber molds, oil seal cavities, and precision tooling components as per engineering drawings. Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and machining tolerances. Optimize machining processes to improve cycle time, tool life, and surface finish. Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot programming or setup issues. Coordinate with production, quality, and tool room teams for new product development and production trials. Maintain CNC program documentation, setup sheets, and revision records. Ensure adherence to quality standards and workplace safety procedures. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Siemens NX CAM Programming CNC Turning Programming Fanuc CNC Controller Toolpath Generation Machine Setup & Program Proving Rubber Mold & Oil Seal Cavity Machining Technical Drawing Interpretation GD&T & Dimensional Inspection Cutting Tool Selection Production Troubleshooting Eligibility Criteria Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 3–6 years of experience in CNC Turning Programming. Experience in mold shop, tool room, or rubber/oil seal manufacturing is preferred. Hands-on experience with BFW CNC Turning Machines will be an advantage. Ability to work independently in a production environment. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong understanding of CNC machining processes. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
