Backend Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Golang (mandatory) and proficiency in Java, Python, or C++. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance systems. As a member of our engineering team, you will work closely with the CTO and founding team to design, develop, and scale disruptive fintech products from the ground up. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited about building category-defining technologies in the finance and stock market space

Key Responsibilities:

 ● Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems for high-growth fintech products ● Collaborate directly with the CTO and founders on product strategy and feature prioritization ● Contribute to discussions on technology choices, scalability challenges, and product roadmaps ● Develop and manage RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration with the frontend and third-party services ● Work with modern infrastructure tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ● Maintain clean, testable, and well-documented code adhering to agile principles and CI/CD best practices ● Continuously improve the system’s performance, reliability, and security at scale ● Contribute to engineering culture and code quality standards

 Qualifications:

● Minimum 1 year of backend development experience with hands-on expertise in Golang ● Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design ● Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred) ● Familiarity with Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing methodologies ● Proficiency with SQL databases and experience in building products at scale ● Experience developing, consuming, and scaling RESTful APIs ● Ability to think creatively and solve problems in a dynamic, fast-changing environment ● Passion for fintech or strong curiosity about the stock market and financial systems
