Job Description

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draughtsman with strong experience in 2D drafting. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and construction/electrical drawings based on project specifications. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and the ability to coordinate effectively with engineers and project teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings as per project requirements. Create construction, electrical, shop, fabrication, and layout drawings. Modify and revise drawings based on engineering inputs and client feedback. Maintain drawing revisions, records, and technical documentation. Coordinate with engineers, estimators, and project teams for design updates. Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards. Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and basic material take-offs from drawings when required. Provide drafting support to project execution and installation teams. Ensure timely delivery of drawings while maintaining quality and accuracy. Required Skills Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D. Good understanding of construction, electrical, and fabrication drawings. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications. Knowledge of drafting standards and documentation practices. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple drawings and meet project deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience in electrical, civil, or mechanical drafting. Familiarity with BOQ preparation and material estimation. Knowledge of MS Office. Basic understanding of project execution processes.
