We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business growth for Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, preparing techno-commercial proposals, managing tender processes, and achieving sales targets within the water and wastewater treatment industry. Key Responsibilities Business Development Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and government sectors. Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research. Meet architects, consultants, builders, EPC contractors, industries, and government authorities. Develop long-term relationships with key customers. Sales & Client Management Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable STP solutions. Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations. Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals and quotations. Participate in pre-bid meetings and client discussions. Tender & Proposal Management Prepare tender documents and bid submissions. Coordinate with technical and estimation teams for accurate costing. Ensure timely submission of proposals and supporting documentation. Negotiation & Revenue Growth Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts. Close sales while ensuring profitability. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and project execution teams. Ensure smooth project handover after order confirmation. Maintain effective communication throughout project execution. After-Sales & Customer Support Develop opportunities for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), plant upgrades, and spare parts sales. Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships. Resolve customer concerns promptly. Required Qualifications B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. MBA in Marketing is an added advantage. Experience 3–10 years of experience in B2B industrial sales. Prior experience in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, STP, ETP, WTP, or Environmental Engineering is preferred. Technical Knowledge Basic understanding of: STP Technologies (MBBR, SBR, MBR, ASP) Water Quality Parameters (BOD, COD, TDS, pH) Wastewater Treatment Processes Tendering and Techno-Commercial Documentation Preferred Industry Water & Wastewater Treatment Environmental Engineering STP/ETP/WTP EPC Projects Industrial Utilities Infrastructure Environmental Solutions
