Assistant Design Engineer (Switchgear)

Job Description

Jyoti Limited is hiring an Assistant Design Engineer (Switchgear) to support the design and development of low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, executing Bills of Materials (BOM), working with protection relays, and ensuring designs comply with customer specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare electrical design drawings and blueprints for switchgear panels. Create and execute Bills of Materials (BOM) accurately. Design and develop LT/HT switchgear assemblies as per project requirements. Work with protection relays, control circuits, and electrical components. Prepare General Arrangement (GA), Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings. Review customer specifications and incorporate design changes. Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and project teams. Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and company engineering standards. Support prototype testing, design validation, and technical documentation. Maintain engineering records and revision documents. Required Qualifications B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may be considered. Experience in switchgear design is preferred.
