Job Description

India Water Life is looking for a skilled Argon Welder / Fitter to join its manufacturing workshop. The candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, fitting, and assembly of stainless steel and mild steel components used in water and wastewater treatment equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Argon (TIG) welding and be able to read engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities Perform Argon (TIG) welding on stainless steel and mild steel components. Carry out fitting, fabrication, and assembly of equipment and structures. Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication layouts. Ensure accurate measurements, cutting, grinding, and finishing of materials. Inspect welded joints and maintain high-quality workmanship. Operate welding machines, hand tools, and workshop equipment safely. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment. Coordinate with the production team to complete work within deadlines. Required Skills Argon (TIG) Welding Fabrication & Fitting Engineering Drawing Reading Stainless Steel Welding Grinding & Finishing Workshop Operations Quality Inspection Safety Compliance Candidate Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as an Argon Welder or Fitter. Knowledge of TIG welding techniques and fabrication processes. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments. Physically fit and willing to work in a manufacturing environment. Basic communication skills in Hindi or English. Preferred Qualifications ITI in Welder/Fitter or equivalent technical certification. Experience in fabrication of water treatment equipment, tanks, pipelines, or pressure vessels is an added advantage.
