AIOps Engineer / Senior AIOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AIOps Engineer / Senior AIOps Engineer to design and implement enterprise-scale AIOps, Observability, and Automation solutions. The role focuses on improving IT operations efficiency through event correlation, predictive monitoring, AI-driven insights, and self-healing automation to enhance service reliability and reduce operational noise. Key Responsibilities AIOps Strategy & Implementation Design and implement enterprise-wide AIOps frameworks Develop event correlation, noise reduction, and alert intelligence systems Build predictive monitoring and anomaly detection models Enable proactive and autonomous IT operations Create service health dashboards and operational KPIs Event Management & Correlation Configure and optimize event management platforms Implement alert aggregation, deduplication, and suppression techniques Build topology-based event correlation models Enable root cause analysis and incident intelligence workflows Reduce alert fatigue and improve operational efficiency Observability Engineering Implement observability across infrastructure, applications, cloud, databases, and networks Establish distributed tracing and service dependency mapping Define monitoring standards, KPIs, and SLAs Integrate telemetry using tools like OpenTelemetry Strengthen SRE and reliability practices ITSM & ServiceNow ITOM Integration Integrate monitoring tools with ServiceNow ITOM Configure Event Rules, CMDB, Service Mapping, and Operational Intelligence Automate incident creation and remediation workflows Improve ITIL-based process alignment (Incident, Problem, Change, Event Management) Automation & Self-Healing Develop automation runbooks for operational efficiency Build self-healing and auto-remediation solutions Use tools like Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Azure Runbooks, and Rundeck Implement automation use cases (restart services, cleanup, scaling, recovery) Cloud & Modern Operations Manage observability across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker environments Support cloud-native monitoring and SRE practices Ensure high availability and service reliability Reporting & Governance Build executive dashboards and KPI reports Track MTTR, MTBF, alert reduction, and automation savings Support continual service improvement initiatives Required Skills AIOps & Observability ServiceNow ITOM / Dynatrace / Splunk ITSI / Moogsoft / BigPanda Datadog, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack OpenTelemetry Cloud Platforms AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Kubernetes & Docker ITSM & Processes ITIL v4 Framework Incident, Problem, Change, Event Management CMDB & Service Mapping Automation & Scripting Python, PowerShell, Bash Ansible, Azure Automation / Runbooks REST APIs integration AI / Data Concepts Machine Learning fundamentals Anomaly detection & predictive analytics Event correlation models Required Experience 10–12 years in IT Operations / Infrastructure Support 4–5 years in AIOps / Observability Engineering Experience in large enterprise environments (10,000+ users) Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM or equivalent tools Exposure to Managed Services / SRE environments preferred Preferred Certifications ServiceNow ITOM Certified Implementation Specialist Dynatrace Professional Certification ITIL v4 Foundation / Managing Professional Microsoft Azure Administrator / Architect Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Key Competencies Technical AIOps Architecture Design Event Correlation & Automation Observability Engineering Cloud Operations & SRE Practices Root Cause Analysis Behavioral Strong analytical & problem-solving skills Stakeholder management Technical leadership Continuous improvement mindset Automation-driven thinking Role Impact This role plays a key part in digital operations transformation, enabling organizations to shift from reactive monitoring to intelligent, predictive, and self-healing IT operations with measurable improvements in cost, efficiency, and service reliability.
