Academic Counsellor – BPO Voice

Transact Global is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Academic Counsellor to join its BPO voice process team. The candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective students, understanding their educational requirements, providing accurate course information, and guiding them throughout the admission process. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, counselling, customer-handling, and sales skills. Key Responsibilities Contact prospective students through calls and other communication channels. Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses or programs. Provide accurate information regarding courses, eligibility, fees, duration, and admission procedures. Follow up with leads regularly and maintain effective communication. Counsel prospective students and address their queries professionally. Convert qualified leads into successful admissions and achieve assigned targets. Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and lead status in CRM systems. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process. Handle customer queries and objections with confidence and professionalism. Follow company policies, quality standards, and communication guidelines. Required Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer handling and counselling abilities. Sales and lead-conversion skills. Good listening and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with students and parents. Comfortable working with targets and follow-up processes. Basic computer and CRM knowledge. Prior BPO, telesales, counselling, or customer support experience is preferred. Candidate Profile 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred. Candidates with strong communication and sales skills are encouraged to apply. Should be comfortable working in a voice-based BPO environment.
